Scholastic Book Fair

The Spring 2011 Book Fair will be held April 18th-21st in the school library. Plant the seed of reading and purchase some great books!

Each year, the PTB sponsors two Scholastic Book Fairs at Bartlett Elementary. In addition to generating excitement about books and reading, the book fairs earn credits towards free books for our school and classroom libraries and raise money that is used to fund PTB programs and supply funds to our school.

For a few days, the school library is transformed into a mini-bookstore where students (and their parents!) can browse through a broad variety of books and pick some special ones to add to their home libraries. Students visit the book fair during the school day. Parents are invited to shop the Book Fair during school hours or the evening Book Fair.

Can you help?

The PTB needs parent (and grandparent!) volunteers to help make this event a success! We have many different shifts available over the course of the fair. This is a great way to support our school and classroom libraries, PTB and a love of reading!
