The next BES Book Fair is November 16-20, 2009. The Evening Book Fair will be Wednesday, November 18, 2009. Online Book Fair Volunteer Form.

During 2009's Fall Evening Book Fair we will be also having some special events:

• Win a $20 Gift Certificate for FREE BOOKS from the Book Fair!!!!
  Free Raffle Ticket for all BES Students who attend the Book Fair Evening Event. One $20 Gift Certificate per Grade Level K-6!
• Reading Circle from 6:30pm - 7:45pm
  Children will gather for stories read by special visitors.
• PTB Meeting at 6:30pm – 7:00pm
  While your children attend the Reading Circle, join us for a short PTB meeting.
• MAPS Test Presentation from 7:00pm-7:45pm
  Learn about MAPS Tests and Lexile Ranges and about how to help your student at home.

Each year, the PTB sponsors two Scholastic Book Fairs at Bartlett Elementary. In addition to generating excitement about books and reading, the book fairs earn credits towards free books for our school and classroom libraries and raise money that is used to fund PTB programs and supply funds to our school.

For a few days, the school library is transformed into a mini-bookstore where students (and their parents!) can browse through a broad variety of books and pick some special ones to add to their home libraries. Students visit the book fair during the school day. Parents are invited to shop the Book Fair during school hours or the evening Book Fair.

Can you help?

The PTB needs parent volunteers to help make this event a success! Please considering volunteering for a couple of hours with setup of displays, decorating, assistance during your child's classroom visit or take down.
