Junior Achievement Volunteers Needed
Volunteering for Junior Achievement is a great opportunity to spend time in your child’s classroom, especially for dads. There are 5-6 sessions about 30-45 minutes long. The teacher will work with you to schedule. Everything you need is provided. Your child will be very proud and you will feel great! We need parent volunteers for the following classes: K-Mrs. Alfini, K PM-Mrs. Nord, 2-Mrs. Sherman Wells, 3-Mrs. Christensen, 3-Mr. Weincek, 4-Mrs. Peterson. Contact Paul Ryan at ja@bartlettptb.org if you can help.
Lots of Volunteer Opportunities with the PTB!
Have a few hours to spare? Looking to get involved but not sure how? PTB has a few open positions for your consideration. If you are interested in helping with any of the following, please contact Laura Kapraun at president@bartlettptb.org. Click Read More to learn the details...
Upcoming Meeting Wednesday January 11th
Happy New Year everyone! Now that the kids are back, it's time for PTB to get back to work as well!
Our January meeting will be next Wednesday, the 11th, at 7 PM. We will have a representative from the district talking to us about the PBIS program.
Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a proactive systems approach for creating and maintaining safe and effective learning environments in schools, ensuring that all students have the social/emotional skills needed to ensure their success at school and beyond.
Holiday Classroom Parties
Classes will be celebrating with their holiday parties on Friday, December 16. Check with your student's head room parent for ways you can help.
This Wednesday--Evening Book Fair and Family Science Fair
Our Scholastic Book Fair begins tomorrow, Monday, November 28th through Thursday, December 1. All classes will visit the book fair during their regular library times, with the exception of Friday classes who have been assigned a new library time for this week.
Our Evening Book Fair and Science Fair is scheduled for Wednesday, November 30th from 6pm-8pm. Be sure to stop by Wednesday night to see some of the outstanding science projects our students have put together, and to do some holiday shopping at the book fair.
