Walk-a-Thon 2011

Bartlett Elementary School will hold our annual Walk-a-Thon on September 22nd, 2011. This is the PTB's main fundraiser. Students collect pledges for walking 10 laps around the school (5 for kindergarten). 100% of proceeds will go to fund activities and enrichment for our kids.

Pledge forms have been sent home and should be returned by September 20. Students who raise $40 or more will receive a special prize. There are also great prizes for the kids who raise the most money.

Volunteer opportunities include walking with your child's class, handing out water, or chaperoning areas around the school. If you can help out, please email Cathy Grosam or April Kudrna at walkathon@bartlettptb.org. To see the schedule of walk times, click here.

Kids and parents should plan on wearing their Bartlett Bulldog t-shirts, plus any tropical accessories to really get the party started!

The rain date is September 23.

 

Prizes for students raising the most money in the school

1st place: $400 gift certificate to Grizzly Jack's Waterpark Resort near Starved Rock.

2nd place: 5 tickets to a Chicago Wolves game

3rd place: Gift card to IPic Theatres i South Barrington

4th place: 2 hour bowling at Brunswick in Roselle

The top fundraiser in each grade (other than the top 4 prize winners) will win a $25 Target gift card.

The top fundraising class will win a pizza party.
