U-46 STUDENT CODE OF CONDUCT
The U-46 Student Code of Conduct sets forth the discipline policy of School District U-46 and is designed to clarify the rights and responsibilities of students, parents, teachers, bus drivers and other school personnel. Students, staff, parents and others are encouraged to study and discuss the contents of this Code. Understanding rights and responsibilities is one way to better ensure that these rights and responsibilities are respected, and provide fairness. The Code of Conduct can be accessed on District U-46 website here.
We don't want to lose anyone who is willing to donate their valuable time, however a major change has occurred in the District Policy. Effective immediately all volunteers in U-46 will need to be given a background check for the safety and security of our students. In order to be fingerprinted you will need to have a photo ID and a completed "Permission to Fingerprint" form from BES. Fingerprinting is done at the district office, 355 E. Chicago Street, Elgin, IL. (Please check for available hours.)
