What We Do
PTB is a 100% volunteer-led organization. All Executive Board positions are non-paid, elected positions. Elections for each upcoming school year are held the spring prior during regularly scheduled PTB meetings. If you would like to help make a BIG impact at Bartlett Elementary, please consider running for a board position or volunteering on a committee for the current or upcoming year.
Fundraisers help the classroom teachers enrich the learning environment through the purchase of supplies and equipment. PTB supports many classroom and school-wide initiatives.
Important programs and services PTB provides:
Classroom technology (digital projectors, bulbs)
School-wide technology (classroom laptops, computer carts)
Books and supplies for school Learning Center/Library
Classroom reading library books
Supplementary reading programs (Raz Kids)
Playground equipment, balls and supplies
Classroom supply funds
Field day support & funds
Field trip assistance
School beautification (entry way rugs, outdoor upkeep)
Art, music & gym supplies
PTB: Who We Are
The objectives of the PTB shall to be to improve our children's lives through intelligent cooperation between parents and teachers and to bring together the home and the school.
PTB: Parents & Teachers of Bartlett Elementary is a 501(c)3 Not-For-Profit organization registered with the State of Illinois. Our organization is comprised 100% of parent and teacher volunteers. A copy of our bylaws can be found here.
